Approx. £600 was raised at the Table Quiz and Ballot held recently. This brings the total amount raised by the PTA this year to £900. This money has supported the purchase of a Defibrillator for the new Sports Hall and the pupils going on a school trip to Paris. Our thanks to all those who supported the various events and Tesco who donated the prizes at the quiz.

The PE Department are delighted to have moved into their new Sports Hall that was built throughout last academic year. The main hall caters for basketball, volleyball, netball and badminton. As well as this there is a fitness room which boasts a range of cardiovascular and muscular fitness equipment for use by pupils in Years 12 to 14. This state of the art facility has already enabled the PE Department to expand on the range of activities available to pupils and to deliver a more consistent curriculum without interruption from the weather. This facility has also enabled a more comprehensive range of after school clubs to take place and the elite facility is encouraging many more pupils to attend these clubs. Pictured above is the Sports Hall and a range of photos of pupils enjoying some of the activities on offer.
