Berlin Trip 2018

On the 19th March 2018, 34 students from Years 11 to 13, and four staff gathered in the school car park at 3am, bleary eyed yet full of excitement, for the first ever Fort Hill History and German senior school trip to Berlin!

Somme Heritage Centre

Year 10 History students visited the Somme Heritage Centre in Newtownards as part of their course which includes the study of the First World War. This was an excellent opportunity for our students to bring to life the events they have been learning about in their History lessons.

Pamporovo, Bulgaria

Students of Fort Hill Integrated College Experience a Ski Trip to Pamporovo in Bulgaria.

Careers in Motion

Fort Hill Integrated College was privileged and proud to be offered the incredible opportunity for 9A1 to participate in an innovative project being run by the National Museums of Northern Ireland. 

Baker McKenzie

The Year 14 Law class visited Baker McKenzie to gain an insight into the diverse roles within the legal sector.  Helena Woodward the HR Manager gave the students an introduction to Baker McKenzie by sharing the business story with them and informed of what the business does on a global scale.

Washington DC

Washington DC was the destination for a trip of a lifetime for Global Service Learning (GSL) students from Fort Integrated Hill College and St Colm’s High School. The visit was part of a Shared Education Programme, involving Education Authority Youth Service and Amizade, a non-profit making organisation and a leader in GSL based in US.

Manchester

In January 2017, 36 students and 4 staff members from Fort Hill Integrated College attended a football trip to Manchester.  Students took part in a guided tour of Old Trafford where they could sit in the home changing room at their favourite player’s peg and emerge from the player’s tunnel to the roar of the crowd inside the Theatre of Dreams.

Iceland

Students of Fort Hill Integrated College Experience the Trip of a Lifetime!

 

A group of 30 students and staff from Fort Hill Integrated College recently experienced the trip of a lifetime when they spent four days in Iceland on a spectacular Geography field trip. 

New York

20 pupils and staff made the trip across the Atlantic to experience the Big Apple and a flavour of its way of life as well as some of the most high impact human geography in the world. Highlights included climbing the Empire State building to see the views of New York on a clear crisp evening, sitting in time square and walking through central park.
