Last March a group of 34 GCSE French students were lucky enough to go on a trip to Paris. Students had the opportunity to sail on the River Seine and visit iconic sites such as the Arc De Triomphe, Notre Dame and the Louvre. Students had a real workout when they climbed the 674 steps to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Everyone agreed though that the views were totally worth it. They also had a guided tour of the Stade de France and saw the tomb of Napoleon. They got to try French food, experience French shops and of course try out their French in real life. The highlight of the trip for many was the trip to Disneyland Paris and everyone had great fun meeting Disney characters and screaming on the rollercoasters. Hopefully we will be able to run another trip soon!
